The mixing seminar took place for the 25th time from 24 to 26 April 2024. It was organised by the Deutschen Institut für Kautschuktechnologie e. V. (DIK) and the Deutschen Kautschuk-Gesellschaft e.V. (DKG) in cooperation with HF.
During these three days, the participants were given a wide range of basic knowledge on the subject of ‘mixing’ in various specialised presentations. The 47 participants from 12 countries were then given the task of demonstrating what they had learnt in a competition by producing a high-quality compound on two different laboratory mixers (GK 4N tangential mixer and GK 5E kneading mixer) in as little time as possible.
It has been a great few days of mixing.
