FARREL POMINI & HF MIXING GROUP AT K SHOW 2013

FARREL POMINI and HF MIXING GROUP exhibited together at K 2013 premiering a freshly designed corporate booth.  The joint effort highlighted the group’s expertise in continuous, tangential and intermeshing mixing technologies.

K 2013 took place from Wednesday, October 16 through Wednesday, October 23 from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm daily.

There were over 3,200 exhibiting raw producers, processors and machinery producers.  There were approximately 218,000 visitors to K 2013 from over 120 countries.  58% of visitors were from outside Germany.  Asia accounted for the largest group of foreign visitors with approximately 30,000 coming from South, East and Central Asia as well as from the Near and Middle East.  Visitors from India again were the largest group.

Across all countries, about 67% of visitors were from middle to top management of companies.

The group’s exhibits included:

  • FARREL POMINI CP1000 Double Flighted Rotors
  • FARREL POMINI Latest technology, CPXL Rotors
  • HF MIXING GROUP ADVISE Mixing Room Automation System
  • HF MIXING GROUP Natural Fibre Plastics Display

There were nearly 400 visitors to the booth including customers and prospective customers.  There were many productive customer meetings and one FARREL POMINI customer purchased a CP1000 Compact Processor.

FARREL POMINI commemorated the 50th Anniversary of the Continuous Mixer at K Show 2013.  The Continuous Mixer was first sold in 1963 and was initially developed for rubber compounding.  However, the Continuous Mixer found a niche in the processing of plastics compounds where it has continued to specialize.  Nearly 1,000 have been sold on a worldwide basis.

To celebrate, FARREL POMINI conducted a contest where customers could submit their equipment serial numbers into a drawing for an iPad.  The drawing was done on the last day of the K 2013.

FARREL POMINI premiered their new corporate theme – EFFICIENCY.  The focus is on product efficiency including the areas of energy, process and maintenance.
