The best technologies provide the best solutions

HF Mixing Group can look back over 150 years of engineering tradition.

All of the significant innovations for the rubber processing industry, such as the invention of the Banbury® Mixer, the development of intermeshing rotor systems with fixed and variable rotor centers (VIC™) and tandem technology, originated within the companies of HF Mixing Group.

It started more than 150 years ago and will continue in the future.

FARREL POMINI & HF At K Show 2016

October 19th to 26th, 2016 in Düsseldorf / Germany

FARREL POMINI and HF exhibited together at K 2016.  The joint effort highlighted the HF MIXING GROUP’s expertise in continuous, tangential and intermeshing mixing technologies.

K 2016 took place from Wednesday, October 19 through Wednesday, October 26 from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm daily.  There were nearly 3,300 exhibitors including raw material producers, processors and machinery manufacturers.  There were approximately 230,000 visitors to K 2016 from over 160 countries.  70% of visitors were from outside Germany.  Asia accounted for the largest group of foreign visitors with approximately 30,000 coming from South, East and Central Asia as well as from the Near and Middle East.  Visitors from India again were the largest group. Across all countries, about 67% of visitors were from middle to top management of companies.

FARREL POMINI debuted the CPeX™, the Laboratory Compact Processor.  The machine represents the latest technology in a lab-sized compounder, ideal for lot sizes of 10-30 kg/hr. The CPeX™ is designed to help processors successfully test and develop even the most challenging formulations reducing development costs, increasing flexibility and expediting time to market.

HF exhibited ADVISE®, the modular, scalable system for mixing room automation as well as the Universal Mixer UMIX sigma blades designed to process medium to high viscosity products.  Also showcased were the brand new, high precision wear measurement services developed by HF including a digital gap/wear measuring device, 3D-rotor-digitization of installed rotors and a new hydraulic inspection & PLC program check.

There were nearly 400 visitors to the booth including customers and prospective customers.

FARREL POMINI concluded the sales of three machines during the exhibition and HF concluded the sale of one mixing line.
