The best technologies provide the best solutions

HF Mixing Group can look back over 150 years of engineering tradition.

All of the significant innovations for the rubber processing industry, such as the invention of the Banbury® Mixer, the development of intermeshing rotor systems with fixed and variable rotor centers (VIC™) and tandem technology, originated within the companies of HF Mixing Group.

It started more than 150 years ago and will continue in the future.

HF at the tire technology EXPO 2017

February 14th to 16th, 2017 in Hanover / Germany

Tire Technology Expo was another great success for the HF GROUP this year.

This was the second time the Tire Technology Expo took place in Hanover and according to organizers, there was an increase in exhibitors from last year with 280 exhibiting companies and more than 5000 visitors. More than 600 participants were able to attend the symposium and workshops. The Tire Technology Expo is earmarked as a key event within the industry.

From an exhibitors point of view we can vouch that this event was professional and very well organized. Each visitor showed great interest and participation in this event and was given the opportunity to cultivate and expand contacts, justifying our annual commitment to this fair.

Dr. Gerard Nijman, Head of Extrusion Process Engineering at the HF Tire Tech Group from Hamburg, gave a lecture during the conference entitled "A rheologically optimized extrusion line for tire components" which was very well received. The 3D presentations for the heat presses also proved a hit with the audience. Over on the HF booth, visitors were able to find out about the automation and overall system solutions of the HF MIXING GROUP for the tire mixing room.

At this year's annual customer event, we retired HF's long-standing Managing Director, Günter Simon, in the circle of top-class customers. The Meet & Greet took place again in the Helmkehof, an old rubber factory in the north of Hanover.  "Flying Food" and live music were there for all to enjoy together.
We are looking forward to the next Tire Technology Expo in Hanover.
