HF-Energy Management: New Compressor Installed in Freudenberg

A new compressor has been installed in the compressed air station and was put into operation at HF in Freudenberg.

The new compressor is considerably more efficient in terms of energy consumption than the old machine due to its technology (variable speed drives etc.). Also the waste heat from the compressor is used to heat the assembly hall.

The exchange of the compressor has been carried out within the framework of a measure from the energy and environmental management. The goal is to reduce the power consumption for compressed air production by 20%.
